Yesterday Ronnie had planned a date for us. We really didn't celebrate Valentine's Day - my Valentine's Day was on Friday. We dropped the boys off at 3 pm and he took me to International mall in Tampa and said I could get two things. We had never been there, so he had printed out a list of all their stores and a map of the mall so I would know where I wanted to go. It's a huge place, so he was trying to make things easy for me. So, I picked out a dress for church from Ann Taylor LOFT on the clearance racks of course! And I'm still in the process of finding shoes to go with it! Then, we went out to eat at the Spaghetti Warehouse. It was a nice evening together - even though I felt bad that we were shopping since men don't really like to shop. Ronnie said he wanted me to feel special and he knew I'd much rather buy some clothes than for him to buy me flowers or chocolate and he is so right! And of course he was opening the doors for me to get in the van like he always used to do before we had to put kids in car seats and back then we didn't have a mini-van either! He had some options for things to do later, like go walk on the beach or go putt-putting, but it was on the chilly side, so we opted out of that! It's nice to get away and be with my hubby, but I always am glad to be back with my boys too! Thank you to my wonderful husband for planning our entire date and taking care of child care and all of it! You're so wonderful!

How sweet! Don't you love it when they do things that you know they actually put some time into planning? Sounds like you had a great time feeling special! :)
How sweet. I am glad you guys had a great time!
I feel the same way that you do about Valentine's Day. I told Rick that I would much rather have a new outfit than flowers and chocolate, which cost just as much or even more.
I'm glad the two of you had a nice romantic evening together! :)
That's cool. You are so right, clothes last much longer than flowers or candy! :) Ronnie's so good to you! :)
Thanks for the support about the pacifier. I really don't mind her having it but she fusses for it in the car a lot when she drops it and when we're out I have to keep giving it to her and making sure she has it. I feel bad because it's more my issue than hers. She did well last night but we'll see about today. Anyway, I would LOVE to see those videos. I know we're not as close as we use to be but out of all the friends I've had over the years, I have never been closer to anyone than we were then. We had just great times together. I hope all is well with you and let me know when you're around.
