Life

When discouraging things come your way, we have a choice. Do we dwell on it or move past it? My tendency is to dwell on it for a while, get a few good cries out of it and then get mad and then move on. Then I start to focus on the positive things going on in my life. Thank goodness there are some right now. And then I remember, God is in control of my life, not me. Why all the worrying? Don't I know that He'll take care of me? Life doesn't always go the way we want or the way we think it should go. Or how else would we learn to trust God? You win some, you lose some. No one ever said life was easy or that you'd always get the best of everything. We learn to live with what God gives us and we do the best with what we have been given. So, here I am TRYING to think positive thoughts!!!

You'll Come - Hillsong United

I have decided I have resolved
To wait upon you Lord
My rock and redeemer Shield and reward
I'll wait upon You Lord

As surely as the sun will rise
You'll come to us
As certain as Your word endures
You'll come let your glory fall
As you respond to us
Spirit reign flood into our thirsty hearts again
You'll come You'll come
We are not shaken we are not moved
We wait upon you Lord
Our Mighty deliverer our triumph and truth
We wait upon you Lord

Chains be broken
Lives be healed
Eyes be opened
Christ is revealed

Running through the sprinkler

Today I hooked up the sprinkler for the boys to run through. It never lasts long and I think they enjoy turning the water off and on more than anything, but it helped cool them off some! Josiah started complaining that he was cold of all things and then Josh said he was ready to get all clean. That would be he's ready to get dry and dressed. It's getting hot down here!!!!

Sea World and Regal Palms

This weekend we had a little get-away with Ronnie's parents. They came in from VA on Thursday and we headed over to Davenport right outside of Orlando and stayed at Regal Palms resort for a couple of nights. They have a little mini water park area there and the boys love swimming there in the lazy river and going down the slide all by themselves!

We took the boys to Sea World on Friday and they loved it! Josiah rode a rollar coaster for the first time - the Shamu ride in the kiddie area. I asked himwhat his favorite part was and he said, "My favorite part was not the rollar coaster!" He said his favorite part was seeing Shamu and seeing Grandma and his cousin, Chris get splashed by Shamu! We all had a great time and enjoyed having family visit! More pics posted in the Family pics link!
